Tests

Trisha
You are Trisha.

Which Napoleon Dynamite character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla alt_tag
You chose brown eyes. Brown eyed people are normally very romantic. You
love to daydream, and sometimes you get
confused with your own fantasies over reality.
You are pretty outgoing, but some days, all you
want to be, is alone, reading, or thinking by
yourself. You have many talants, and you will
probably have a very important job when you're
older.

The Eye color personality test
brought to you by Quizilla Water You are 38% Extroverted and 50% Chaotic Virtue - Water people exhibit benevolence. These type people are charitable, have a kindly disposition and promote goodwill. They are concerned with the welfare of others. Where other people are concerned they are kind, generous and philanthropic. They seldom harbor hostility. They derive pleasure from doing good deeds. Core - They are cooperative, companionable, hospitable and socialable. They are true humanitarians and are concerned with the welfare of other people. They are called servants or servers because of their unselfishness and sincere devotion to the welfare of humanity. They unconditionally come to the aid of the sick and the unfortunate just as they would for one of their own family, and most often ask nothing in return. Nature - They have strong feelings and sensibilities. They tend to make decisions based on their emotions rather than by reason. Although they are emotional in nature, they do not outwardly express it. Their feelings are hurt easily but they tend to not let it show. Drives - They are deeply concerned about the welfare of their friends and family. They also care about what other people think and say about them. An insensitive remark from someone can hurt their feelings deeply, although they may not show it. They give of themselves and their material possessions freely to help a less-advantaged person gain confidence and stature. They will go all out where close friends or family is concerned. It is not easy to make friends with a them because they are skeptical and naturally shy. They will be generous and kind to a certain point, but when you gain their confidence you will have an all-weather friend who will stand by you through your struggles. Vice - They will suppress the truth by words, writing and conduct to do damage to another. This is not spite. This is their non-violent way of getting their revenge. Milder cases include stretching the truth a little, not exactly untrue but not the real truth. They are emotional people and tend to get carried away in the heat of a situation. These people are not prone to physical violence normally, but being of an emotional nature and having the tendency to let things build up inside them, they can become extremely abusive.

Friday Five

1. List five people and a song that reminds you of them or that you think best describes them (list the person's name, the song title, and the song's artist).

Bryan-Listen to Your Heart by DHT (I think)
My dad-If Tomorrow Never Comes by Garth Brooks
My mom-You are my Sunshine
Samantha-Animals Crackers in My Soup by Shirley Temple
Jack (aka Kim) and Sayid (aka Sara)-You All Everybody by Driveshaft

2. What would your life's soundtrack be?

Hmmm.... I have no clue. Let's go with a mix of songs?

3. Which would you prefer: to live somewhere that is hot or to live somewhere that is cold year-round? Why?

I don't wanna pick but cold. It's more bareable and more invigorating.

4. Suppose you had twins, a boy and a girl. What names would you give and why?

At the moment, Isabella Scarlett and Garrett Michael

5. What's a quote/lyric that describes you right now?

I don't know. Ummm.... let me go search my quotes and get back to you....

Putting off an easy thing makes it hard.  Putting off a hard thing makes it impossible.  ~George Claude Lorimer

Procrastination is like masturbation.  At first it feels good, but in the end you're only screwing yourself.  ~Author Unknown

Both of the above are because I'm putting off doing my summer homework.

Nobody cares if you can't dance well.  Just get up and dance.  ~Dave Barry

Music is the medicine of the breaking heart.  ~Leigh Hunt

Without music life would be a mistake.  ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietz

Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.  ~Victor Hugo

The above four express how I feel about music. It relieves my stress, my heartbreak, my sadness. It takes my troubles, my cares, my worries. Without it, I would be so strung out, so depressed, so worried, so burdened down with it all that I couldn't function.

Tickle Tests

Victoria, you're a Pampered Traveler

Four-star hotels. Shopping sprees. Fine dining. For you, traveling is all about indulgence. Leaving the comforts of home doesn't mean leaving your love of luxury. In fact, you probably take advantage of and enjoy the spoils of a vacation more than most.

Admit it, you like the finer things in life, especially when you're rewarding yourself with a getaway. And you know that giving yourself a few special treats will make the trip more memorable and worthwhile. So go ahead, order the dessert, relax with a massage, unwind in roomy first-class seats. That's how you savor the experience. Ahh...

What Kind of Traveler Are You?

Victoria, your fantasy island is The Florida Keys

Friendly folks, stunning sunsets, gorgeous beaches, fine dining — you know that there's no need to travel around the world to enjoy a fantasy island when the enchanting Keys and their many offerings — whether diving, shopping, or sport fishing — are so close.

Like the laid-back and inviting Keys, you are down-to-earth and lovable — traits that help others relax when they're around you. Simply put, you prefer to roll with the punches and make the best out of every situation — from airport layovers to lost credit cards. Your motto? Life is to be enjoyed, and enjoy it you will.

What's Your Fantasy Island?

Victoria, your trademark tune is Britney Spears' "(You Drive Me) Crazy"

Flirty and fun, you get a kick out of catching someone's eye (like you know who) and being in the center of it all. Good thing you've got the looks, personality, and sense of humor to pull it all off. You go crazy for the opposite sex, and it's just as easy for people to fall in love with you and your fun-loving attitude.

A great asset to any gathering, you've got the confidence to strike up conversations with strangers and make anyone feel welcome. That rocks!

Saturday Six

Kay, people. This is it and then I'm going off the computer for a bit......

1. What is your current desktop picture?  What made you select it?

Somebody teach me how to do a screen shot please? It's a golden flower. I chose it because it's the only one my dad and brother can stand that I like.

2. A close friend who you consider to be up to date on fashion suggests that you should update your look and offers to pay for a session with an experienced hairstylist you've never dealt with before.  Knowing that it's free, would you go?

Ummm.... if I liked the way I looked, screw it. If I was debating it myself before it was suggested, sure, why not?

3. When you do look in a mirror, what is the first thing you usually look at?

My eyes. Always my eyes.

4. Take this quiz:  Which Bugs Bunny character are you?

Bugs Bunny!

You scored 14 Aggression, 85 Sophistication, and 57 Optimism! You have all the sophistication and charm one would expect from such a high-class hare. Very upbeat and generally laid-back, you are remarkably calm and peaceful even in the midst of the most stressful of situations. On those rare occasions that your anger is aroused, your retaliation usually results in embarrassing the aggressor and laying-bare how foolish he or she really is -- rather than doing any real harm. You likely have many friends and more than a few admirers and would make an excellent leader, if you had any interest in being one. But, being a leader would require hard work and attention to detail, both qualities you are lacking in. In fact, if you are not careful, your laid-back attitude will often lead you to drift through life completely oblivious to the changes happening around you. You also tend to have a horrible sense of direction.

5. What label seems to describe you the best as a whole?

I don't fit a label. None at all. I'm just me. And even me has multiple parts.

6. READER'S CHOICE QUESTION #60 from Stacy: Is there a specific person that you credit with your successes? and HOW did they help you?

Only God for giving me my life, my faith, my struggles, and my triumphs.

Weekend assignment 74

Weekend Assignment #74: Forget about the things you need -- Tell us about something you want. Preferably something useless and/or expensive. In other words: Toys! Something fun and/or sparkly and/or indulgent that you don't already have but wouldn't mind getting, if someone were offering.

Extra Credit: Do you really think getting that toy would make you happier?

My dress! Two years ago in Saratoga Springs, I tried on this dress. At first I didn't like it but, Lindz told me to try it on. Okay, fine. So I go into the changing room and put on this black dress and I'm still wary about it. Next, I came out and showed Lindz and her parents. "Wow" was the only word out of their mouths. I looked in the three-way mirror and that was my reaction too. It looked AMAZING. Now, I don't typically go "oh my gosh it looks so gorgeous" or anything but, this dress fit like heaven. It skimmed over the right areas and it hugged the right areas. It had adjustable spaghetti straps and a flirty-kinda skirt. It went down to my knees and it had a v-neck. There was rose-embroidery on the side of it. At first glance on the rack, it looked a bit gaudy but, once on, the size was just right. Even though at 13, I was still kinda geeky and had my glasses on and my hair all messy and more baby fat than I have now, it looked amazing. I wanted this dress SO badly... and then, I looked at the price tag. It was over two hundred dollars. Way out of my price range. Since then, I've been dying for it. Just to try it on again even. Well, I went back to Saratoga Springs and Xanadu is out of business. I'll never get my dress. I'm kind of disappointed but, it's okay. Maybe someday I'll find one like it. As for the extra credit, I don't think this dress would ever make me happy by itself. I think that if I had got it and if I wore it to homecoming or prom or semi-formal or something and had a great time dancing and swishing it around, then the experience would make it happy. But the dress would not make me happy. (The above picture is the closest thing to my dress that I could find. The straps are the same and the hem is the same flirty type thing.)
