tickle quizzes

Victoria, a Glamorous look will make you picture perfect

Ooh-la-la! Whether you're attending fashionable parties or throwing your own special gatherings, you always like to put your best foot forward. That's why your perfect holiday look is something that makes you as dazzling and beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. From sparkles to jewels to bright colors to black, you know how to dress up and show off whatever you've got on.

You probably don't have Santa's sleigh perched on your roof, and we doubt you've ever worn a sweater that sings carols, but you're definitely a sweet and charming soul who knows exactly what the holidays are all about: spending time with family and friends. Still, there's no reason you can't be snuggled in cashmere and silk while you celebrate!

What's your picture perfect holiday look?

Victoria, Cute Guys tickle you pink

Admit it — you're a flirt at heart. And you don't mind putting yourself out there to get a guy's attention. Making people feel interesting and at ease is just second nature for a smooth operator like you. Which helps explain why nothing makes you happier than that feeling of falling in love, being in love, or staying in love.

Did anyone ever call you boy-crazy? Looks like they were right on the money. You're always on the lookout for a smile or wink from the right guy — whether he's a long-term love or a cute new crush. And we know you'll wink back.

What tickles you pink?

Victoria, your style profile is Chic and Sleek

Calm, cool, collected. Your style statement is all about casual elegance. Whether an impeccable pantsuit or slim-fitting bootcut jeans, your look tends to be on the minimalist side with an emphasis on a perfect fit. And while you may not be one for frilly embellishments, we'd guess you have a few irreplaceable accessories — a croc belt, a turquoise necklace, a silk scarf — that you couldn't live without.

Chances are your friends envy your seemingly effortless, pulled-together appearance. And what's not to love? It's a look that's been cultivated over years of knowing what you like, knowing what looks good on you, and sticking with it.

What's your style profile?

This Is My Life, RatedLife: 4.7Mind: 4.2Body: 6.1Spirit: 5Friends/Family: 6.3Love: 1.4Finance: 4.2Take the Rate My Life Quiz>                  Elmo
You scored 64% Organization, 71% abstract,  and 49% extroverted!                        This test measured 3 variables.

First, this test measured how organized you are.  Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.

Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint.  For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert.By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and anextrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert wassomebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks moreabout herself.

You are mostly organized, more abstract, and both introverted and extroverted.

Most people either love or hate Elmo.  I hope you love Elmo, because that's who you are.

You are both somewhat organized. You have a goodidea where you put things and you probably keep your place reasonablyclean. You aren't totally obsessed with neatness though. Elmo has thesame basic approach. His place is pretty tidy, but he doesn't spend allof his time cleaning it up.

You both are abstract thinkers. You definitely are not afraid to takechances in life. You only live once. You may notice others around youplaying it safe, but you are more concerned with not compromising yourdesires, and getting everything you can out of life. This is a veryromantic approach to life, but hopefully you are also grounded enoughto get by. Elmo's whole life is based on fantasy and his imagination. In the beginning he was a regular character, but now he spends most ofhis time in this fantasy world.

You are both somewhat extroverts. Like Elmo, you probably like to havesome time to yourself, but you do appreciate spending time with yourfriends, and you aren't scared of social situations. Elmo spends someof his time with real friends, but he also needs some time just to chatit up with his goldfish.

The other possible characters are
Oscar the Grouch
Big Bird
Cookie Monster
Ernie
Snuffleupagus
Kermit the Frog
Grover
The Count
Guy Smiley
Bert

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback! Also if you wantto tell me your favorite Sesame Street character, I can total them upand post them here. Perhaps your choice will win!

Sunday Seven

Sunday Seven

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

Name the top seven stores where you are most likely to do the majority of your Christmas shopping this year. If you can't name seven, name as many up to seven as you can. You can also include online retailers, too.

I'm mostly making gifts this year so my answers are kinda weird...

1. JoAnn Fabric
2. Wegman's (a grocery store)
3. Target
4. some online site for a couple things

and that's about it...

Robin's Friday Five
1. What is the one thing on your Thanksgiving table that you will NOT eat?

I don't eat turkey. My mum always either gets me this deli turkey I do like or a cornish hen or just some chicken.

2. Did you ever play in a pile of leaves as a kid? If so do you have a picture of you or someoneyou know playing in the fall leaves? Post it if you do!

I did just a couple weeks ago. No pics right now.

3. When you think of Fall what are the three things that come to mind?

The smell of leaves, the chill of wind, and the taste of hot spiced cider

4. When was the last time you had pumpkin pie? Was it last year or have you already had some this year?

Last year.

5. Tell us something really nice about the last person you read an email from.

I'm not *quite* sure who the last person I got an e-mail from was. I've gotten a few today. I think it was either Michael or Sara. Michael (whose journal is Confessions of a Madman) is an amazing guy. He (along with others) helped me through my original struggle with SI and forced me to accept the term self-mutilation as applied to myself. I still don't like it but I see how some might think that. He's always there if ever I need him. And Sara is equally as amazing. She, too, helped me through that struggle and offers advice as best she can when I ask for it. She has a wonderful child-like way of looking at certain things. Not naive but optomistic and innocent, I suppose is how to describe it.

Now I've really gotta write that global essay! Damn it...

Saturday Six

1. What was the last movie you watched at a theater completely alone? Would you have enjoyed it more or less if you had gone with someone to see it?

I've got two immediate neighbors and a complex full of others. I know NOBODY. I kinda knew John and Megan but they moved and I've got new neighbors that moved in like yesterday.

4. Take this quiz: How much of a conspiracy nut are you?
<br ="">You are 42% Conspiracy Nut

Locator Image!

Tuesday Two

QUESTION A:
You are invited to a party at a nudist colony through a program that seeks to introduce the concept to people who aren't already members.  You know the following things going in:  1) There'll be nothing "inappropriate" going on, 2) You won't know anyone who is there, and 3) You'll never again see any of the people who are present for the rest of your life.  Given these conditions, would you attend?

or

QUESTION B:

While housesitting for a close friend, you discover some nude photos of your friend that were left out in the open, and apparently completely by accident.  Would you look at the photos, and would you tell your friend that you found them?

Umm.... I'll go for question A, I believe. Firstly, the question doesn't say I have to be naked. Secondly, it's a new experience and I'll try (almost) anything once. Thirdly, for the most part, I'm comfortable with my body and I think this would force me to be completely comfortable with it. That does not mean I'll join a nudist colony on my own, start acting in porn, or show everyone my body. I'm more modest and care more about my rep than to do that.

General Hospital

Your life mostly resembles those of the characters on General Hospital.  Although you can be melodramatic at times, you lead a fairly normal life.  You love to hear gossip, but you are not much of a spreader.  Your friends love you because you are reliable and extra fun to be around.

                Take this quiz at QuizGalaxy.com
Hahaha I used to watch that soap constantly!

5. Have you ever heard a song and thought, "Whoever wrote that must know me?"  If so, what song was it, and do you still feel that way?

Yep. I'm Sensitive by Jewel. And probably others. Yes.

6. If your birthday had to fall on a holiday each year, which holiday would you choose and why?  (For this question, assume that holidays like "Thanksgiving," which fall on a different date each year, would fall on the same date to accommodate the question.)

I wouldn't want it to but if it must, Halloween or Valentine's Day.

Questions

I hadn't really planned to do any of these things tonight but, I'm catching up on entries and found this at Meg's journal.

What do you hope to accomplish with the little bit of time left in the year? I want to get the grades I know I can get (aka at least a B in every class) and to build up the courage to ask JJ out for coffee or something.

What was your biggest disappointment this year? Umm... Josh deciding a slut was a better gf than I (never dated him but, wanted to), my cats/Charlie/my uncle dying, and not getting into math a/b honors w/Stewart.

Your biggest surprise in 2005? having my first boyfriend and having my first "guy laying on top of me and licking my neck" moment(s)

Your happiest moment in 2005?
umm...all the inside jokes cultivated during lunch, coming out of my depression, and all the flirting I did.

What do you hope to change in 2006?
I wanna get a job before the year is out and if not this year than next. And I wanna be a better Christian next year.

All in all, how was 2005 for you? ::thinks back over the year:: Stressful. I started the year depressed and heart broken and went through various degrees of that for the year. My friends proved themselves to be amazing and supportive though and they got me through (you know who you are and I love you for everything you helped me through and for just being you!). There were good times and bad times. I dealt with death for the first time and I've dealt with a friend being pregnant in the past few months. It's been tough and it's going to keep being tough but, I came out of my depression (mostly thanks to my friends and Bryan) and I realized who's really gonna be there when I fall. Oh, and I've been dealing with temptations to SI for this entire calendar year. Death and SIing, CF and cancer. It's been tough but, there were definitly some good times. Oh, and I learned I can flirt *and* (sry but, I have to say this) I actually have boobs this year. lol (Seriously, this time last year, my shirts fit me a lot differently. This year, I actually have to be careful of what I wear b/c if it's too low cut, I'm liable to flash some cleavage. Enough boob talk though.)

So how was your year?

Tuesday Two

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC #1:    SONGS

QUESTION A:
Name a song that somehow connects you and another person:  a loved one, an ex, or a friend or family member...and describe how it became "your song."

or

QUESTION B:

What was the last song you heard on the radio that really hit anerve with you?  What about it made you really feel like it was written about you?

I pick A. I wanna answer both but I'm not allowed. So I pick A. I'll start with the song between my ex bf and I. He doesn't know that it's kinda our song but, it is. Listen to Your Heart by DHT (i think). It reminds me of him. The lyrics are about "[listening] to your heart before you tell him good-bye". When I first heard it, I was debating whether I should dump him or not. I wound up dumping him but that song always reminds me of him.
Another song that's attached to someone is Private Malone is attached to Jaci. I don't remember why but, it made me cry the first time I heard it after Mom moved in with Ray. Then there's Wide Open Spaces and Jule. Once again, don't remember how it came to be. Oh, and my mommy sings You Are My Sunshine for me. That's our song. She sang it to me when I was little. My dad sings "my girl" and "if tomorrow never comes" to me. And I sing "animal crackers" the Shirley Temple song to Sami now and then.

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC #2:    YOUR WORST ENEMY

QUESTION A:

If you feel that you are your worst enemy, then think about the worst quality you have that makes you feel this way:  if you had the power to remove that quality from your personality with the snap of a finger, would you?  Why or why not?

or

QUESTION B:

If your worst enemy is someone besides you, what would it take to resolve the situation...and what would it take for you to be the one to start that process?

Ummm.... I choose A again. I beat myself up, I criticize myself, I put myself down, and I assume others do it too. I tend to think the worst of myself at times. Not always but, enough. No I wouldn't. I would limit it. A healthy dose of skepticism and reality and criticism is good but, what I get sometimes is overkill.

Sunday Seven

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:
You are given control of a cable network to run a seven-movie Halloween marathon.  Which movies would you choose?

Either answer the question in a comment or answer it in your journal and include the link in a comment.  (To be considered "first to play," a link must be to the specific entry in which you answered the question.)

1. Psycho - Hitchcock's version

Gosh. I can't remember any of the movies I watched with Liz that night. I don't watch scary movies often. Umm.... Saw. The Grudge. The Ring (but only if I can sit w/Liz and feed off her terror). I'm out of ideas...

Saturday Six

1. What is a bigger pet peeve for you:  someone trying to talk on a cell phone during a movie, a baby crying in a restaurant, a dog barking on your street, or music played loud enough to rattle windows.

Someone on their cell during a movie

2. What is your favorite cologne or perfume that you wear most often?  Which one is the one you like the scent of, but don't wear often or at all?

Still by J.Lo... Exclamation

3. In your opinion, what is the best way to tell someone you value how much they mean to you?

face to face

4. Earlier this week, I posted a personality quiz:   If you haven't taken it, please do; if you already have, how accurate were the results compared with your true personality.

I'm too lazy to do the test. Actually, mostly the scoring thing is confusing me b/c I keep forgetting which question I'm on.

5. When was the last time you feel you got as much sleep as you really needed in a single night?

A couple weeks ago.

6. If a stranger walked up to you and handed you a briefcase with enough money to pay off every debt you had down to the penny, do you think you could start from then on living debt-free?

If I had a job that would pay me adequately, probably.
